This is the rejection, word for word: „[PT-R-001] Portuguese invoices must include NIF (Numero de Identificacao Fiscal).“
Why this matters in Portugal
Portugal requires (B2G) e-invoicing using CIUS-PT (UBL 2.1), CIUS-PT (CEFACT CII), Peppol BIS 3.0. An invoice with this error is rejected; it cannot be processed under Portugal's rules.
