How it works
01UploadPDF, image, CSV or Excel. Up to 10 MB.
02Read the fieldsThe file is sent to Anthropic; the model reads header, parties, line items, taxes and payment details. Dates, document type and references are then settled by fixed rules.
03CheckThe UBL invoice is checked against EN 16931 and Peppol BIS. You see every field; if the printed totals disagree with the lines, we say so.
04Complete and downloadAnything missing (for example the Peppol id of your customer) you fill in; we check again. When it passes, you download the XML.
Questions
Which files can I upload?
A PDF (printed or scanned), a PNG, JPEG or WebP image, or a CSV or Excel file (.xlsx, .xls). Up to 10 MB per file. An XML e-invoice works too; it is checked directly.
Which output format do I get?
On this page: Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 as UBL XML, the format of the Peppol network (Belgium, the Netherlands, the Nordics and others). For Germany use the PDF to XRechnung page, which builds XRechnung 3.0. The output is XML; we do not embed it into your PDF yet.
What does it cost?
Reading and checking are free and need no account. Checking is free. The first verified download every 30 days is free. After that €1.90 per invoice, or €9 a month for all of them.
How accurate is the extraction?
In our measurement on 51 test invoices — real ZUGFeRD samples from six producers and invoices made in Word and Excel — 99.4 % of the fields were read correctly. Scans and unusual layouts are harder. You see every field before you download, missing mandatory details are asked for, and if the printed totals disagree with the lines we tell you.
Where does my file go? Is it stored?
The file is sent to Anthropic (US) to read the invoice fields; we do not keep the file itself. The resulting XML is handled like any invoice checked here — see /privacy.
I already have an XML file. What then?
Upload it the same way, or use the checker: it validates XRechnung, ZUGFeRD and Peppol XML, adds missing mandatory details you confirm, and checks again.
