NIF/CIF format invalid in Spain
This is the rejection, word for word: „[FACE-001] Spanish tax ID must be valid NIF (individuals) or CIF (companies) format with correct checksum letter. NIF uses 8 digits + letter, CIF uses letter + 7 digits + control character.“
Why this matters in Spain
Spain requires (B2G) e-invoicing using Facturae 3.2.x. An invoice with this error is rejected; it cannot be processed under Spain's rules.
